I don’t watch anime so I don’t get it, but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt it’s a quality meme.

it’s not even from an anime!

Your telling me the person on the right isn’t a cartoon character drawn in Japanese style?

Is it worth it though? There better be a hell of a twist if it says it’s not for kids.

I’m downloading it now, will I be able to finish it tonight? I can’t imagine it’s too long if it’s free.
Also again, it better be pretty fucked up if it says not for kids.

it’ll take around 2-3 hours, but well worth it. has a save feature so you can always play it later

Ha! It want’s me to write a poem! Little do they know I once won a video game YouTuber’s poetry contest for a $30 prize. They have no idea what they’re in for!

Kind of disappointed, does the game turn out any differently if you choose different things?

I think this beats “What does the Fox say” for the weirdest song to come out of Europe.

Yuri and Sayori. Yuri would up liking me though.

No matter who you choose in the 2nd part of the game... Yuri will like you.
And Sayori will always... yeah.
also you should be aware of this

WAT. This time I’ll write poems for Natuski and see what happens, since I think it’s kind of obvious what happens to Yuri since I chose to help her over the weekend the first time.

I finished Doki-Doki. Do you have any other game recommendations?

no, honestly that’s the newest game I’ve played in a long time

I went slumming in the steam forums and apparently there’s a game called “wonderful everyday” that’s very similar. It’s like $30 though.

Update on “Wonderful Everyday”
I’m not very far into it, only about 1/3rd of the way through if all the chapters are the same length. But I can say with 90%, mathematical, confidence that you’ll enjoy it.
It’s $30 on Steam, but then you have to download a patch that gives you the extra 5 chapters, because Steam wouldn’t allow the rest of the game on it’s service.
It’s soooooooooooooooo much longer than doki-doki, but so far I think it’s pretty good.
If you want I can update you further about my opinion of it.

Please do! I’ll look into it, thanks

Update (About halfway through the game): It’s very good, much better than doki-doki. That being said, it’s an order of magnitude more fucked up. However I’d give it a 9/10 at this point, only because I’m not quite halfway through so I can’t properly judge it.
Just some technical stuff though. Make sure you don’t open the game through steam before applying the patch. I did that the first time and it caused the patch to not take correctly. Also make sure you extract the patch files before copying them into the game, copying them and then extracting them may not work.
Also just giving you a heads up on how you progress through the chapters. At the end of a chapter the credits will play and then you’ll either immediately go to the “broken screen” (Has a character on it and it looks like broken glass) or it’ll return you to the main menu, in which case you’ll click “start game” and go to the broken screen.
On the broken screen just move your mouse around the broken pieces. Some of them will turn red and display the chapter title, once you get the chapter you need you just click on it and it’ll start you there. (The first chapter of the patch will be the piece in the top right corner, after that it goes roughly clockwise.)

Thanks! I’ll play the game at some point, definitely want to give it a whirl now after what you’ve said

Also another piece of advice, make sure you save before decisions, because I just found out some chapters you can’t advance past if you don’t get the correct ending. So I had to redo the whole chapter to get the “right” ending :(

right, well Monika told you to save frequently
